The Linear Collider Detector Magnets Working Group project at CERN focuses on the design of a superconducting magnet suitable for the next Linear Collider Detector. The design includes the development of a novel superconducting cable, the winding technique, the overall magnet integration & assembly strategy, the cryogenics and vacuum services and the design of magnet infrastructures compatible with the detector’s push-pull scenario.
